The CleanSkate Machine is Designed, Built and Manufactured in the United States by Design Innovation LLC in Dutton, Alabama.
Design Innovation LLC has been designing industrial machines and automation since 1989. In May 2007 a project was undertaken to develop a machine to clean all 4 wheels at once on quads and inlines skates quickly. After several prototypes were built, the final machine worked the best cleaning a quad skate in 8 to 12 seconds. The CleanSkates machine was tested in the field for over a year with great results and continues to perform well. If you have dirty skates this is the right solution!
The CleanSkate machine measures 22" x 22" square, with a working height of about 38". The machine is mounted on locking castors to allow the machine to be easily moved. The machine weighs about 85 lbs. The top container is fabricated from plastic. A pump circulates cleaner from the reservoir to the skate cleaning surface and helps wash down dirt. The machine plugs into a 120VAC wall outlet.
To set up and operate the CleanSkate machine. Simply move the machine to the location desired for skate cleaning. Mix the cleaner, pour mixture into the 5 gallon container. Position the container under the machine. Plug the machine into a 120VAC outlet. Then press and hold the foot pedal.The cleaning brush should rotate and cleaner will be sprayed onto brush. Make sure brush is completely wet before a skate is applied. While the brush is rotating, place skate on the brush firmly gripping the back and front of the skate. It is recommended to move the skate in a twisting, side to side motion. This will ensure that all wheel surfaces are scrubbed.
